Happy Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was really great. We did thanksgiving at our apartment with some friends from our ward. It was a great opportunity to cook all of the food that our mom's normally cook. I guess we had to learn sometime. Trevor did most of the Turkey and it was really good and it looked amazing. We have so much to be thankful for. We were talking about how we had a very eventful year and we were so blessed. Our greatest blessing was having Kassidy, we can not imagine life without her. We missed our family but we are thankful for the friends we have made here. I was really bad and this is the only picture I took on thanksgiving!

10 Months

Our little Kassidy is 10 months old today! She is such a blessing in our lives, I can not imagine life without her. She is getting more personality and attitude everyday. Some of the things she is doing at 10 months are:
She goes in circles on her bum and kind of scoots around.
She can roll both ways now.
She loves to mimic sounds you are making and she is getting really good at it.
Her favorite word is Dad and she is starting to associate it with Trevor.
She also says yeah a lot.
She loves bananas, apples, eggs and pretty much everything we eat.
She loves when her friends come over to play.





              

Getting our Christmas Tree

On Wednesday we went and got our Christmas Tree, I know Trevor let me do it before Thanksgiving!! The weather was supposed to be nicer so that is why we did it early. it was a really pretty place. It is a little different getting a Christmas tree in Washington. We are used to walking through snow to get one but here it rained a lot the day before so we were walking through wet grass. Kassidy also really enjoyed being outside and she loved to watch our dog Phoebe running around. She also liked playing in the dirt and trying to eat rocks!  

                    It is not the prettiest tree we have ever had but its still a tree and that is what counts! I really missed going with my family to get Christmas Tree's this year but I am thankful that my amazing husband lets me carry on the tradition in our own little family.

Getting Colder

I just had to share these pictures of Kassidy with her cute new pink hat. In the 2nd picture Kassidy is asleep haha. When we got home her hat was over her eyes and she was fast asleep.

Fall Fun

 I wanted to get some pictures of Kassidy in the leaves, however this is the only one where she is looking haha. She is such a cute little girl and she loves to be outside and play in the dirt. We went fishing on Veteran's day and it was really fun. It was pretty cold but it was fun to get out and see somewhere new. 

Day at the Park

On Saturday Trevor studied in the morning and then after lunch we decided to go to the park for a little while. It was cold so we did not stay very long but it was fun to get out of the house and to get some fresh air. Kassidy's favorite part was the swing!



                

Happy Halloween

                                 Happy Halloween! We had a great Halloween this year. We went to our ward trunk or treat on Thursday night, and it was really fun. Kassidy sat in the back and helped us had our candy. It was really fun to see all the Halloween costumes. Kassidy was an owl for the trunk or treat but her hat didn't stay on for very long.






                                   

   

We carved a pumpkin and Kassidy liked playing with the insides, she thought it was pretty cool. She also really enjoyed getting a bath afterwords. 

This is our cute little fairy! She was so fun to dress up I really enjoyed it anyway. Holidays are a lot different when you have a baby. I realize that I want to make holidays special for them. I know Kassidy won't remember these first ones but it makes me excited to share them with her in the future. On Halloween we went to the family vet school party for a little bit and then we came home and had soup. We had about 15 trick or treaters and they all came at once! It was a  great Halloween.

9 Months Old

I can not believe how fast time goes...this little girl is 9 month old already. Here is a list of things she likes to do at 9 months. 

1. She loves to smile and laugh, except in public she gets really shy. She also is learning to tease us, and play pick a boo. 

2. She loves to eat with her hands. She really likes to chew on apples. 

3. Kassidy still really loves her bath, when you turn it on she gets so excited and starts doing her happy yell. 

4. Kassidy sits up really well and moves in a circle, she rolls from her stomach to her back and just started rolling from her back to stomach but she still does not love her stomach so she usually is on her back or sitting up. We are working on walking she is starting to get the hang of moving her feet. 

5. Kassidy loves to help do the laundry! She has started handing me the hangers when I go to hang up the clothes. 

6. Kassidy gets really excited when Trevor comes home! She loves him, she also loves to say Dad Dad Dad! 

     

  

Sick Little Girl

Last week we had a sick little girl, she had a fever and was throwing up. I took her to the doctor and it ended up just being a virus. It is hard to have a sick baby, it made me really appreciate my mom, I know when I was sick all I wanted was my mom and I knew she would take care of me. I hope to do the same for Kassidy.

Mini Vacation

 Mini Vacation 

October 25, 2014

We decided to make a little vacation out of going to the temple. We went to Spokane on Friday night and stayed in a hotel. We did not get there until about 8:30pm but Kassidy was happy and so we decided to go swimming for a little while. She LOVED IT! It was cold water but she did not seem to mind. She loves the water...she must be related to Trevor!! She really liked to splash and kick her legs. On Saturday we got up and met our friends, the Kartchners,  at the temple, we watched there little guy Clay, while they were in the temple and then they watched Kassidy while we went. After words we went to Red Robin and then headed home so Trevor could study.  

Clay and Kassidy, these two are going to be great friends. They already play good together. Kassidy gets a little jealous because Clay can move around and she can't yet. 

The Temple is such a blessing, I am so thankful we were able to go there. I know you learn something new each time you are there. I want Kassidy to be able to go inside the temple some day. I hope I can teach her and prepare her to go to the temple.
